Development Program

The Development Program is in addition to your normal team training. The goal is to have players ready to play in the Komodo Division or BPL/Division 1 next season.

  • All coaches have minimum Skill Training Accreditation

  • 16-week program (Term 2 & 3)

  • 1 x session per week of SAP coaching

    • Striking the ball / First touch / 1 v 1 / Running with the ball

  • Skill driven training game to increase players game knowledge

  • Extra fixtures approx. 4-6 match days (opponents could be SAP team, out of zone Komodo team's)

  • 3 local carnivals (Carnivals are additional cost)

How much does it cost to play?

  • Development Fee are in addition to your Membership Fees.

  • Fees must be paid in full two weeks before the first Session each Term.

  • Will this clash with my current team? No, all training sessions and matches are separate to your normal team.

  • How do I join? Team coaches and development coaches invite players to the program

  • Can I nominate my child? Yes, you can nominate your child for the program. Number of places in the Academy will be depending on player numbers and coaches available.

About Our Club

Ipswich City Soccer Club, "The Bulls", was formed in 1975 with five teams and 70 players, drawn from all parts of Ipswich City, although most of them came from Leichhardt, Brassall & surrounding areas. The first committee meeting was held on 16th Feb 1975. The committee voted Noel McCool as President, Pam McCool as Secretary & John Hohnke as Treasurer. Mrs Jones was also voted President of the Ladies committee. Committee members voted were: Joe Korhecz, Ray Jones, Barry Roberts, Brian Hartwell & John Stains.
