Summary

Football Brisbane has multiple levels of competition for Seniors from Brisbanse Premier League to City League 7. The teams listed in the below section are based on last years and are subject to change depending this seasons registration numbers.

All coaches will be provided with the relevant coaching qualifications for this age group and ongoing support from the club.

Football Brisbane will provide referees for matches. In the event Football Brisbane are unable to allocate a referee the club will attempt to allocate a club referee.

The creation of teams in this age group will depend on the number of registrations received. It is the policy of the Club to attempt to provide an opportunity to play football for all players who are registered by the 15th February.

Should we have more than players registered for any team then we will run a grading session to select the teams.

Ipswich City Football Club Senior Program includes:

  • 26 weeks, 1 night training at our Club venue at Sutton Park (Top Side includes extra)
  • 6 week preseason
  • Football Brisbane fixtures
  • Western Pride affiliation model. Assistants in coach education and football strategic plans.
  • Overseen by Development Director (Dao Phan FFA A license)
  • Technical Director support (Jason King FFA C-license youth) ICFC Junior TD
  • Facility maintenance to provide excellent training and playing surface.
  • Full club membership

Playing Equipment

Under our Duty of Care policy all players must wear shin pads, boots and bring a water bottle to all training sessions and games. Any player not wearing shin pads and boots will not be allowed to play or train.

Boots must have molded studs NOT screw in studs.

During matches players should wear the Ipswich City FC playing shorts and socks. The Jersey will be supplied by the club.

Matches: Matches are split between home and away. Home matches are at Sutton Park. Away matches are generally within a 30min drive from Sutton Park, including but not limited to:

What is Membership Fees?

Membership Fees are the combination of Registration and Match Fees.

What do I wear for matches (games)?

  • The club playing shorts and socks are avaliable to purchase from the Canteen.
  • The playing jersey will be provided by the club. These are to be returned to the Coach or Manager after each match.
  • Shin pads and football boots.

About Our Club

Ipswich City Soccer Club, "The Bulls", was formed in 1975 with five teams and 70 players, drawn from all parts of Ipswich City, although most of them came from Leichhardt, Brassall & surrounding areas. The first committee meeting was held on 16th Feb 1975. The committee voted Noel McCool as President, Pam McCool as Secretary & John Hohnke as Treasurer. Mrs Jones was also voted President of the Ladies committee. Committee members voted were: Joe Korhecz, Ray Jones, Barry Roberts, Brian Hartwell & John Stains.
