AFTER their worst defeat of the season, the Ipswich City Bulls are hoping back-to-back Friday night games can get their premiership campaign back on track.

The Bulls tackle second-placed Grange at Sutton Park tonight in a catch-up match before playing the same team away on the eve of the Ipswich Cup.

Ipswich City Bulls coach Nev O'Sullivan was stunned having two players sent off in the first half of last Saturday's 7-2 Capital League 2 loss to Annerley.

Lucas Wilson was marched for alleged swearing at an official and Mark Fancourt was sent off for accruing two yellow cards.

Wilson has been suspended for three weeks with Fancourt to miss one match after the controversial refereeing decisions.

While disappointed with how his team was treated at Sutton Park, O'Sullivan gained heart from his side's performance after trailing 5-1 at halftime.

"I was pretty proud what they did in the second half," he said. "They didn't throw it in.

"It was backs against the wall, typical Bulls.

"I can't complain about the commitment. We've just got to get our wheels back on and dust ourselves off."
